Wentworth Tennis - Fall/Winter

Women's Teams 

We have many organized women's team ranging from the 2.5 to 4.0 level.  Our Fall/Winter USTA league teams are fun and competitive and last from September through April.  Each team has a weekly practice and matches twice per month.  If you are new to the club or to playing on a team, please see Chris for details.

Juniors

Kevin Christian is our Junior Coordinator and will help you register your junior in the appropriate tennis program.  We have classes in the following age groups:    4-5 yr. olds / 6-7 yr. olds / 8-10 yr. olds / 11 - 16 yr. olds.  The junior classes are comprised of three sessions.  Here are the dates:  Session 1: 9/8 - 11/30   Session 2: 12/1 - 3/15   Session 3: 3/16 - 6/14.  Contact Kevin at 610-0183 ext. 33 or by email at kchristian@wentworthbytheseacc.com .

Adults

We are constantly putting together adult group classes throughout the season.  See Chris if you would like to get started within a group, or have a group of your own to begin.

Beginner Tennis is available for all members.  The classes are co-ed and we offer them and various times. Whether you are a total novice, a high school player from yesteryear or a golfer wanting to start, we have a class for you. Choose from one of these times:    Wednesdays at 9:00 - 10:30am        Thursdays at 6:30 - 8:00pm        Saturdays at 12:30 - 2:00pm

Ball Machine

Hit the courts and play against Hercules for only $12.  You can work on your groundstrokes, volleys or footwork and improve in a short time.  Hercules will also give you a fantastic workout.  Simply go to the online court booking and reserve a court and then ball machine at matching times.

Guests

All members are encouraged to bring guests and show off our beautiful club.  Tennis guest fees are $15 per guest/day.  Members should sign in guests at the Sports Center pro shop or with the Tennis Staff.

Facility

The beautiful  35,000 sq. ft. indoor Sports Center offers four multi-layered SportMaster surfaced indoor tennis courts with viewing court level and on the mezzanine level. The Sport Center also houses a Fitness Room with cardio and light weight equipment plus we have a six bay indoor driving range and putting green behind the tennis courts. It is one of the newest and clearly the nicest indoor facility in New England.
